Find a retina specialist in your area

If you think you may have wet AMD, it's important to make an appointment with a retina specialist right away, since the disease can progress quickly. The good news is that there are hundreds of retina specialists across the country. Below you will find 2 Web sites where you can find information about them.

1. The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Retina Specialist Locator

The AAO retina specialist locator allows you to search by doctor name, city, zip code, or country. When you use the AAO locator, be sure to select 'Retina/Vitreous Surgery' in the Subspecialty field. This is the terminology used to define a retina specialist.

2. The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) Retina Specialist Locator

The ASRS retina specialist locator allows you to search by country and state or province
